In June, global organosilicon giant Dow announced it would invest approximately USD 100 million to expand specialty organosilicon products, with a focus on liquid silicone rubber (LSR). This aligns closely with Hoshine Silicon's recent announcement of the commercialization of medical-grade liquid silicone rubber, indicating that under the drive of high-growth sectors such as new energy vehicles, medical, and electronics, the move toward premiumization of organosilicon products has become an industry consensus.  

Hoshine Silicon announced that its 0° shore silicone gel and medical-grade liquid silicone rubber have completed pilot verification and are about to enter the commercial promotion phase, mainly targeting medical devices, wearable devices, and other fields. In addition, multiple organosilicon products from the company have met the limit requirements for D4, D5, and D6 content under the EU REACH regulation, which took effect on June 6, 2026, ensuring the compliance of related export businesses.

The domestic organosilicon market has recently shown a game-theoretic situation. On the supply side, major monomer companies have clearly stated that they will increase emission reduction efforts from June to August, with the first-round reduction ratio reaching 40%, which is expected to lead to supply contraction. However, on the demand side, the traditional off-season has arrived, and downstream purchases remain cautious. Although prices of products such as DMC (dimethylcyclosiloxane) have rebounded slightly, overall transaction volume has seen limited growth.  

As a leading enterprise in the functional silane sector, Chenguang New Materials has mastered core technologies such as hydrosilylation and dry-process hydrogen chloride recovery through independent R&D. The company's products are exported to more than 30 countries and regions, with Q1 revenue up 43.86% year-on-year. The company is currently extending its industrial chain into emerging fields such as new energy vehicles and commercial aerospace through capacity expansion and technological innovation.  

  Recently, the Phase I of the "300,000 tons/year functional silane project" of Chenguang New Materials' wholly-owned subsidiary Anhui Chenguang has entered the trial production stage. The project's products cover the full range of functional silane coupling agents and crosslinkers, including amino, epoxy, vinyl, and sulfur-containing types. Meanwhile, the Phase I of the company's silicon-based and aerogel new materials project in Ningxia has also officially commenced production. The two major projects have a combined planned annual capacity of 600,000 tons, aiming to build a vertically integrated industrial chain from silicon powder to aerogel.

Hangzhou Liheng Silicon Materials Co., Ltd. plans to invest RMB 166 million to construct a project for functional silane and specialty silicone oil series products in the Jiande Economic Development Zone. The project completed all construction approval procedures in just 18 days after land delivery, setting a new record for project approval speed in the local organosilicon industry. Upon reaching full production, the project is expected to generate annual sales of RMB 300 million.
